Client Project
Tactical Expeditionary Rucksack
A modular expedition rucksack built as a game-ready asset, with detailed fabric and worn hard-surface parts.

Overview
The rucksack was designed around modularity: standard PALS/MOLLE webbing lets pouch layouts vary. The focus was believable fabric, showing how the weight of the side pouches and the strapped sleeping mat pulls on the material through creases and strap tension.
It is built for a modern military or post-apocalyptic setting, with distressed camouflage and wear on the polymer buckles.
Scope
- Blockout and base mesh in Maya
- High-poly detailing for fabric folds
- Retopology to a real-time mesh that keeps the silhouette
- 2K PBR texturing, with custom stencils for camouflage and wear
